Camelback Hiking Trail is located in South Scottsdale just off of Lincoln and 44th Street with another trail on the east side of the mountain off of Lincoln and 64th Street
Who Can Access:
The trails are available for Hikers and Climbers only… no Bikers allowed
Dogs Welcome
Camelback Mountain does not allow dogs on the trails
Difficulty
Camelback Mountain is definitely more on the difficult side with the West Trail more reflective of boulder climbing. The trails are relatively steep as you will need the assistance of metal bars mounted on the trails to hold onto and pull yourself up the mountain.
Distance
The total distance to the end of the trail and back to the car is 2.6 miles.

The views of Camelback are remarkable providing a 360 of the entire valley from the mountains of Cave Creek and North Scottsdale’s McDowell Mountain to South Mountain in Phoenix.
